هو برنامج تصميم إبداعي يساعد المصممين والصانعين على الإنتاج السريع لإبداعاتهم. يقوم LuBan تلقائيًا بإنشاء نماذج ثلاثية الأبعاد بأشكال مختلفة، مثل الليثوفان والمكدس والتجزئة واللوحة والإغاثة والوحدة النمطية والإطار السلكي. يمكن تصنيع النموذج الذي تم إنشاؤه عن طريق الطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد والقطع بالليزر والطحن باستخدام الحاسب الآلي.

LuBan هو برنامج CAD/CAM من الجيل التالي تم اكتشافه في معهد ماساتشوستس للتكنولوجيا (MIT) وتم تطويره في جامعة سنغافورة للتكنولوجيا والتصميم (SUTD) لمساعدة المصممين والصانعين على تحسين الإنتاج المادي لإبداعاتهم.

LuBan is generative design software that helps designers and makers in rapid production of their creations. LuBan automatically generates 3D models in various forms, such as lithophane, stack, hash, plate, relief, module, and wireframe. The generated model can be fabricated by 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC milling.

LuBan is next-generation, generative CAD/CAM software discovered at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and developed at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) to help designers and makers improve physical production of their creations.

LuBan automatically generates 3D models in the form of (1) stacking, (2) interlocking, (3) finger joint, and (4) 3D printed models. Parts of a model can be fabricated by laser cutting and 3D printing. LuBan is not dependent on specific fabrication methods; instead, it can interface with many types of machines through several standard file formats such as DXF, EPS, OBJ, STL, and SVG.

LuBan: Easy Way to Make Large 3D Prints!
Luban is an application for breaking apart an STL file into ‘chunks’ that you can print easily on any printer. You can define the size of the chunks for each axis, attachment method, and error correction. Most people would look at this as an opportunity to print GINORMOUS things on their CR10 style printers. I am going to go in a different direction with my first Luban print. Let’s try and write some regular sized CR10 prints on a mini printer!
