Emerald 2 is partially based on the matchless processors built in Germany between the 1960s and the ’70s, known for their unique design.

The Emerald Filter expands on the filtering section of its bigger brother, in that it offers low and high pass filter cells with a selectable slope starting at 6dB/oct and going all the way up to the unusual level of 36dB/oct. It also includes the same preamp stage as the equalizer from the same plugin suite.
