Want to make your 2D character in 3D?
This is the course for you, using Blender’s Grease Pencil feature to make your character stand out!

This course will go in depth analysing the 2D character and the best tools to bring it into 3D, always keeping the spirit of the drawing.
First we’ll analyse how to best translate the flat image to a 3D model.
Then, using Blender’s Grease Pencil feature, we’ll add frame-by-frame animation, 2D details, and unique ways of making your image special.

This course will cover the following:
-Learn to analyse the 2D character to translate it into 3D
-Sculpting in Blender to achieve an organic, tactile feeling
-UV unwrapping & painting on 3D objects
-Using Grease Pencil to paint on 3D objects & add 2D animations in the 3D scene
-Build custom rigs without needing to use Rigify

We’ll go through each stage step by step and explain the theory behind each process so you’ll be ready to translate your 2D character into 3D, making it look unique and full of your personality and ideas!
