Eternal Ascent – Pwnisher Challenge
The key to this project was to create a shield around the character when the drone attacked, blocking the attack. To achieve this look, I tried different RNDs such as Houdini, Pyro, etc. and ended up creating the effect of the quantum shield in C4D, working on the effects and smoke when the attack was blocked in EmberGen, and compositing in AE.

I animated the stairs to sway whenever the character took a step and the lines on the stairs swayed to give it a dynamic feel, and the background was designed to emphasize the idea of being in a very high place.

I’ve learned a lot from this challenge and am very happy that it has gotten so much attention.
